Here at Complete Music we’re always looking out for great songwriters to work with, whether they’re solo artists, bands or purely songwriters writing for other people.

We do try to listen to everything that is sent to us, however, before you send off your demo we’d appreciate it if you read this :

1.      We’re an independent company, and that means we’re still relatively small. We’d love to respond to every submission – the truth of it is that we just don't have time to. If you don't hear from us, it almost certainly means that, for any number of reasons, your music didn’t quite hit the spot. We’ve done away with a standard "rejection" letter, as we don’t feel it really serves any constructive purpose to you.

Should we like what we hear, then you’ll be the first to know. We can’t always reply to every email enquiry, and persistent hounding won't be anything other than annoying.

It’s not uncommon for us to drop you a line and make some comments on the music, especially if you’re on the right lines of what we’re looking for.

2.      Do you write the kind of music that we like? Now that you have found our website please take this opportunity to have a look around, read up on & have a listen to the various artists & writers that have made us one of the UK’s leading independent music publishers. It might save you and us the time and effort if you have a greater understanding of our history and our musical interests.

3.     Please don't send us mp3s - it plays havoc with our server! We know it's more expensive, but at the moment please restrict yourselves to CDs, MDs, vinyl or cassettes. Ideally we prefer 3 or 4 tracks on a CD, but maybe that’s us just being a bit choosy!!
