Halflight
Biography Halflight is the brain-child of singer songwriter Sarah Howells (ex Jylt). Based in Cardiff, the band is currently playing gigs as a three piece, comprising of Cello, acoustic and electric guitar and Sarah's haunting and emotive vocals. Having been compared to everyone from Damien Rice to Bjork to Evanessance, the music is understandably hard to pigeon-hole. Sarah's voice
is a rare thing, even more breathtaking and haunting when experienced
in a live situation. The songs are deeply personal stories of
loss, renewal and hope in the face of adversity, set against the
backdrop of small town West Wales. . |
